The Globe and Mail and Video Games: Be careful what you write…

Because the internet will hilariously mock you. And the cleverness with which they mock will make everything in life ok again (unless, I guess, you’re the Globe Editorial Board. Then you might disagree).

The Globe published an editorial on a new video game, Assassin’s Creed III, in which they challenge the historical accuracy of the game. I didn’t even read the whole thing. It’s not really important. What is awesome is Twitter’s response to it.

Sometimes Twitter gets too heavy to handle. Days full of pile-ons for a company’s mistake, or discussions of high-level CIA director’s having affairs. There are days when it is all too much. But sometimes the internet is just so very clever and it reminds me why I love it so much.
